महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-82, verse-3

सौगन्धिकं वनं राजंस्ततो गच्छेत मानवः ।
यत्र ब्रह्मादयो देवा ऋषयश्च तपोधनाः ॥३॥
3. saugandhikaṁ vanaṁ rājaṁstato gaccheta mānavaḥ ,
yatra brahmādayo devā ṛṣayaśca tapodhanāḥ.
3. saugandhikam vanam rājan tataḥ gaccheta mānavaḥ
yatra brahmādayaḥ devāḥ ṛṣayaḥ ca tapodhanāḥ
3. Then, O King, one should proceed to the fragrant forest. It is there that Brahmā and other gods, along with sages whose wealth is asceticism (tapas), reside.
