महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-82, verse-30

ततो ललितिकां गच्छेच्छंतनोस्तीर्थमुत्तमम् ।
तत्र स्नात्वा नरो राजन्न दुर्गतिमवाप्नुयात् ॥३०॥
30. tato lalitikāṁ gacchecchaṁtanostīrthamuttamam ,
tatra snātvā naro rājanna durgatimavāpnuyāt.
30. tataḥ lalitikām gacchet śaṃtanoḥ tīrtham uttamam
tatra snātvā naraḥ rājan na durgatim avāpnuyāt
30. O king, one should then go to Lalitikā, the excellent sacred place (tīrtha) of Śaṃtanu. A person who bathes there will not experience misfortune (durgati).
