महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-82, verse-24

तत्राभिषेकं कुर्वीत कोटितीर्थे समाहितः ।
पुण्डरीकमवाप्नोति कुलं चैव समुद्धरेत् ॥२४॥

24. There, being concentrated (or resolute), one should perform an ablution at Koṭitīrtha. One attains the merit of a Puṇḍarīka (Vedic ritual) and indeed liberates one's family.
