महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-82, verse-138

सकृन्नन्दां समासाद्य कृतात्मा भवति द्विजः ।
सर्वपापविशुद्धात्मा शक्रलोकं च गच्छति ॥१३८॥
138. sakṛnnandāṁ samāsādya kṛtātmā bhavati dvijaḥ ,
sarvapāpaviśuddhātmā śakralokaṁ ca gacchati.
138. sakṛt nandām samāsādya kṛtātmā bhavati dvijaḥ
sarvapāpaviśuddhātmā śakralokaṃ ca gacchati
138. Having once reached Nanda (a holy place), a twice-born (dvija) becomes one whose self (ātman) is purified. With a self (ātman) completely cleansed of all sins, he also goes to the realm of Indra.
