महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-1, verse-88

समृद्धां तां तथा दृष्ट्वा पाण्डवानां तदा श्रियम् ।
ईर्ष्यासमुत्थः सुमहांस्तस्य मन्युरजायत ॥८८॥
88. samṛddhāṁ tāṁ tathā dṛṣṭvā pāṇḍavānāṁ tadā śriyam ,
īrṣyāsamutthaḥ sumahāṁstasya manyurajāyata.

88. Having seen that great prosperity of the Pandavas, a very great anger, born of envy, then arose in him (Duryodhana).
