महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-1, verse-86

सुनयाद्वासुदेवस्य भीमार्जुनबलेन च ।
घातयित्वा जरासंधं चैद्यं च बलगर्वितम् ॥८६॥

ghātayitvā jarāsaṁdhaṁ caidyaṁ ca balagarvitam.

86. Through the wise counsel of Vasudeva (Krishna) and by the combined strength of Bhima and Arjuna, Jarasandha and the Chedi king, who was arrogant with his power, were caused to be killed.
