मृगव्यवायनिधने कृच्छ्रां प्राप स आपदम् ।
जन्मप्रभृति पार्थानां तत्राचारविधिक्रमः ॥६८॥

68. Due to the killing of a deer during coitus, he (Pandu) incurred a terrible calamity (the curse). Consequently, from the very birth of the Pandavas, there was a strict observance of traditional rites and customs.
