अध्यायानां सहस्रैस्तु त्रिभिरेव बृहस्पतिः ।
संचिक्षेपेश्वरो बुद्ध्या बार्हस्पत्यं तदुच्यते ॥९०॥

90. adhyāyānāṁ sahasraistu tribhireva bṛhaspatiḥ ,
saṁcikṣepeśvaro buddhyā bārhaspatyaṁ taducyate.

90. Lord Bṛhaspati, using his intellect, condensed (that work) from (its original) three thousand chapters. Therefore, it is called the Bārhaspatya (treatise).
