योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-85, verse-50

किंचिज्जातविषादैवमुवाचात्मनि चेतसा ।
अहो नु विषमं मौर्ख्यं तदनात्मज्ञतात्मकम् ॥ ५० ॥
kiṃcijjātaviṣādaivamuvācātmani cetasā ,
aho nu viṣamaṃ maurkhyaṃ tadanātmajñatātmakam 50
50. kiñcit jātaviṣādā evam uvāca ātmani cetasā
aho nu viṣamam maurkhyam tat anātmajñatātmakam
50. kiñcit jātaviṣādā evam ātmani cetasā uvāca
aho nu tat maurkhyam viṣamam anātmajñatātmakam
50. Having become somewhat distressed, she thus spoke within her own mind: "Oh, how terrible indeed is that folly, which inherently constitutes ignorance of the true self (ātman)!"
