योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-85, verse-115

एवं हि सुखदुःखे द्वे जन्मकारणदर्शनात् ।
अक्षस्य गाढतां याते पटे कुङ्कुमवद्दृढम् ॥ ११५ ॥
evaṃ hi sukhaduḥkhe dve janmakāraṇadarśanāt ,
akṣasya gāḍhatāṃ yāte paṭe kuṅkumavaddṛḍham 115
115. evam hi sukhaduḥkhe dve janmakāraṇadarśanāt

115. Thus, indeed, these two, happiness and sorrow, become firmly ingrained due to the perception of the cause of birth, just as saffron (kunkuma) firmly stains a cloth, achieving deep visual saturation.
