Rāma's younger brother (Rāmānujaḥ), Lakshmana, then rained down an intense shower of arrows discharged from his bow. With razor-sharp, half-moon-tipped, barbed, and broad-headed arrows (kṣura-ardhacandra-uttama-karṇi-bhallaiḥ), he cut off [the enemy's] arrows and was not disturbed at all.
