अभिवृष्टः शरौघेण मेघेनेव महाचलः ।
ह्रस्वं कृत्वा तदा रूपं ध्वजाग्रे निपपात ह ॥७५॥

75. abhivṛṣṭaḥ śaraugheṇa megheneva mahācalaḥ ,
hrasvaṃ kṛtvā tadā rūpaṃ dhvajāgre nipapāta ha.

75. mahācalaḥ meghena iva śaraugheṇa abhivṛṣṭaḥ,
tadā hrasvaṃ rūpaṃ kṛtvā dhvajāgre nipapāta ha.

75. Like a great mountain showered by a cloud, he (Hanuman) was struck by a multitude of arrows. Then, making his form small, he alighted on the tip of the banner.
