rathasthaṃ rāvaṇaṃ saṃkhye dadarśa manujādhipaḥ.

Hearing that speech spoken by the son of Vāyu (Hanumān), the heroic Rāghava (Rāma) suddenly mounted Hanumān, the great monkey. The lord of men (Rāma) then saw Rāvaṇa, who was standing in his chariot, on the battlefield.
