तान्प्रेक्षमाणः सहसा निकृत्तान्निकृत्तभोगानिव पन्नगेन्द्रान् ।

95. Seeing those arrows suddenly cut down, like great serpent-kings (pannagendrān) with their bodies severed, the lord of Laṅkā succumbed to the power of anger (krodhavaśam) and released other sharp arrows.
