वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-47, verse-35

तच्छैलशृङ्गं बहुवृक्षसानुं प्रगृह्य चिक्षेप निशाचराय ।
तमापतन्तं सहसा समीक्ष्य बिभेद बाणैस्तपनीयपुङ्खैः ॥३५॥
35. tacchailaśṛṅgaṃ bahuvṛkṣasānuṃ pragṛhya cikṣepa niśācarāya ,
tamāpatantaṃ sahasā samīkṣya bibheda bāṇaistapanīyapuṅkhaiḥ.

35. Having seized that mountain peak, which had many trees on its slopes, (Sugrīva) hurled it at the night-ranger (Rāvaṇa). Upon suddenly seeing it approaching, (Rāvaṇa) pierced it with arrows having golden shafts.
