He is one whose days are auspicious, the supreme bestower of dharma (vṛṣabha), Vishnu (viṣṇu) himself. His stages of manifestation are righteous, and he holds all nourishment within himself. He causes growth and is himself ever-increasing. He is distinct and pure, an ocean of Vedic knowledge (śruti).
