महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-29, verse-90

व्यूढे देवासुरे युद्धे हत्वा दैतेयदानवान् ।
व्यभजत्पृथिवीं कृत्स्नां ययातिर्नहुषात्मजः ॥९०॥
90. vyūḍhe devāsure yuddhe hatvā daiteyadānavān ,
vyabhajatpṛthivīṁ kṛtsnāṁ yayātirnahuṣātmajaḥ.

90. In the great battle (yuddha) between gods and asuras, Yayāti, the son of Nahuṣa, having killed the Daityas and Dānavas, divided the entire earth.
