उपह्वरे निवसतो यस्याङ्के निषसाद ह ।
गङ्गा भागीरथी तस्मादुर्वशी ह्यभवत्पुरा ॥६१॥

61. upahvare nivasato yasyāṅke niṣasāda ha ,
gaṅgā bhāgīrathī tasmādurvaśī hyabhavatpurā.

61. upahvare nivasataḥ yasya aṅke niṣasāda ha
gaṅgā bhāgīrathī tasmāt urvaśī hi abhavat purā

61. yasya upahvare nivasataḥ aṅke gaṅgā bhāgīrathī
niṣasāda ha tasmāt purā urvaśī hi abhavat

61. When (that sage) was dwelling in a secluded spot, Gaṅgā Bhāgīrathī indeed sat upon his lap. For that very reason, Urvaśī also came into being from him in ancient times.
