महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-29, verse-56

भगीरथं च राजानं मृतं शुश्रुम सृञ्जय ।
यस्येन्द्रो वितते यज्ञे सोमं पीत्वा मदोत्कटः ॥५६॥
56. bhagīrathaṁ ca rājānaṁ mṛtaṁ śuśruma sṛñjaya ,
yasyendro vitate yajñe somaṁ pītvā madotkaṭaḥ.
56. bhagīratham ca rājānam mṛtam śuśruma sṛñjaya
yasya indraḥ vitate yajñe somam pītvā madotkaṭaḥ
56. sṛñjaya ca vayam bhagīratham rājānam mṛtam śuśruma yasya
vitate yajñe indraḥ somam pītvā madotkaṭaḥ (abhūta)
56. And we have heard, O Sṛñjaya, of King Bhagīratha, who also died; in whose extensive sacrificial ritual (yajña), Indra, having drunk the Soma (juice), became utterly intoxicated.
