महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-29, verse-110

सौवर्णां पृथिवीं कृत्वा दशव्यामां द्विरायताम् ।
दक्षिणामददद्राजा वाजिमेधमहामखे ॥११०॥
110. sauvarṇāṁ pṛthivīṁ kṛtvā daśavyāmāṁ dvirāyatām ,
dakṣiṇāmadadadrājā vājimedhamahāmakhe.

110. The king, having created a golden land (effigy) ten vyāmas wide and twice that in length, offered it as a ritual fee (dakṣiṇā) during the great Vājimedha (Vedic ritual).
