महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-29, verse-76

यं दृष्ट्वा पितुरुत्सङ्गे शयानं देवरूपिणम् ।
अन्योन्यमब्रुवन्देवाः कमयं धास्यतीति वै ॥७६॥
76. yaṁ dṛṣṭvā piturutsaṅge śayānaṁ devarūpiṇam ,
anyonyamabruvandevāḥ kamayaṁ dhāsyatīti vai.
76. yam dṛṣṭvā pituḥ utsaṅge śayānam devarūpiṇam
anyonyam abruvan devāḥ kam ayam dhāsyati iti vai
76. devāḥ devarūpiṇam yam pituḥ utsaṅge śayānam dṛṣṭvā,
anyonyam abruvan -- "vai,
ayam kam dhāsyati?" iti.
76. When they saw him, god-like, lying in his father's lap, the gods asked each other, 'Indeed, whom will this (child) nourish/sustain?'
