महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-29, verse-15

मृतान्महानुभावांस्त्वं श्रुत्वैव तु महीपतीन् ।
श्रुत्वापनय संतापं शृणु विस्तरशश्च मे ॥१५॥
15. mṛtānmahānubhāvāṁstvaṁ śrutvaiva tu mahīpatīn ,
śrutvāpanaya saṁtāpaṁ śṛṇu vistaraśaśca me.
15. mṛtān mahānubhāvān tvam śrutvā eva tu mahīpatīn
śrutvā apanaya saṃtāpam śṛṇu vistaraśaḥ ca me
15. You, having indeed heard about the great and departed kings, should dispel your sorrow. And listen to me in detail.
