महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-29, verse-8

मा कृथाः पुरुषव्याघ्र शोकं त्वं गात्रशोषणम् ।
न हि ते सुलभा भूयो ये हतास्मिन्रणाजिरे ॥८॥
8. mā kṛthāḥ puruṣavyāghra śokaṁ tvaṁ gātraśoṣaṇam ,
na hi te sulabhā bhūyo ye hatāsminraṇājire.
8. mā kṛthāḥ puruṣavyāghra śokam tvam gātraśoṣaṇam
na hi te sulabhā bhūyaḥ ye hatāḥ asmin raṇājire
8. puruṣavyāghra tvam gātraśoṣaṇam śokam mā kṛthāḥhi ye asmin raṇājire hatāḥ,
te bhūyaḥ te sulabhā na (bhavanti)।
8. O tiger among men (puruṣavyāghra), do not succumb to body-emaciating sorrow, for those who were slain in this battlefield will surely not be easily found by you again.
