महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-29, verse-101

रथं रथं शतं चाश्वा देशजा हेममालिनः ।
अश्वमश्वं शतं गावो गां गां तद्वदजाविकम् ॥१०१॥
101. rathaṁ rathaṁ śataṁ cāśvā deśajā hemamālinaḥ ,
aśvamaśvaṁ śataṁ gāvo gāṁ gāṁ tadvadajāvikam.
101. ratham ratham śatam ca aśvāḥ deśajāḥ hemamālinaḥ
aśvam aśvam śatam gāvaḥ gām gām tadvat ajāvikam

101. And a hundred indigenous horses, adorned with golden garlands, followed each chariot. A hundred cows followed each horse, and similarly, a hundred goats and sheep followed each cow.
