महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-29, verse-81

य आङ्गारं हि नृपतिं मरुत्तमसितं गयम् ।
अङ्गं बृहद्रथं चैव मान्धाता समरेऽजयत् ॥८१॥
81. ya āṅgāraṁ hi nṛpatiṁ maruttamasitaṁ gayam ,
aṅgaṁ bṛhadrathaṁ caiva māndhātā samare'jayat.
81. yaḥ āṅgāram hi nṛpatim maruttam asitam gayam
aṅgam bṛhadratham ca eva māndhātā samare ajayat
81. yaḥ māndhātā hi nṛpatim āṅgāram maruttam asitam
gayam aṅgam ca bṛhadratham eva samare ajayat
81. Indeed, it was Māndhātā who conquered in battle King Aṅgāra, Marutta, Asita, Gaya, Aṅga, and Bṛhadratha.
