महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-29, verse-63

स चेन्ममार सृञ्जय चतुर्भद्रतरस्त्वया ।
पुत्रात्पुण्यतरश्चैव मा पुत्रमनुतप्यथाः ॥६३॥
63. sa cenmamāra sṛñjaya caturbhadratarastvayā ,
putrātpuṇyataraścaiva mā putramanutapyathāḥ.
63. saḥ cet mamāra सृञ्जय चतुर्भद्रतरः त्वया
पुत्रात् पुण्यतरः च एव मा पुत्रम् अनुतप्यथाः
63. सृञ्जय सः चेत् ममार त्वया चतुर्भद्रतरः च
एव पुत्रात् पुण्यतरः मा पुत्रम् अनुतप्यथाः
63. O Sṛñjaya, if he indeed died, he was four times more fortunate than you and more meritorious than your son. Therefore, do not grieve for your son.
