महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-112, verse-76

तांश्च सर्वान्रणे योधान्प्रेतराजपुरं प्रति ।
नीतानमन्यन्त जना दृष्ट्वा भीष्मस्य विक्रमम् ॥७६॥
76. tāṁśca sarvānraṇe yodhānpretarājapuraṁ prati ,
nītānamanyanta janā dṛṣṭvā bhīṣmasya vikramam.

nītān amanyanta janāḥ dṛṣṭvā bhīṣmasya vikramam

76. And observing Bhīṣma's prowess, people believed that all those warriors in battle had been led to the city of the king of the departed (Yama).
