महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-112, verse-46

ताञ्शराञ्शरसंघैस्तु संनिवार्य महारथः ।
द्रोणो द्रुपदपुत्राय प्राहिणोत्पञ्च सायकान् ॥४६॥
46. tāñśarāñśarasaṁghaistu saṁnivārya mahārathaḥ ,
droṇo drupadaputrāya prāhiṇotpañca sāyakān.
46. tān śarān śarasaṃghaiḥ tu saṃnivārya mahārathaḥ
droṇaḥ drupadaputrāya prāhiṇot pañca sāyakān
46. tu mahārathaḥ droṇaḥ śarasaṃghaiḥ tān śarān
saṃnivārya drupadaputrāya pañca sāyakān prāhiṇot
46. But the great charioteer Droṇa, having completely warded off those arrows with his own volleys of arrows, then dispatched five arrows towards Dhṛṣṭadyumna (Drupada's son).
