महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-112, verse-34

तयोर्युद्धं समभवद्भीष्महेतोः परंतप ।
संरब्धयोर्महाराज समरे चित्रयोधिनोः ।
यथा देवासुरे युद्धे मयवासवयोरभूत् ॥३४॥
34. tayoryuddhaṁ samabhavadbhīṣmahetoḥ paraṁtapa ,
saṁrabdhayormahārāja samare citrayodhinoḥ ,
yathā devāsure yuddhe mayavāsavayorabhūt.

paraṃtapa saṃrabdhayoḥ mahārāja

34. O scorcher of foes (paraṃtapa), great king (mahārāja), a battle occurred between those two, enraged and fighting wonderfully, for the sake of Bhishma, just as a war once happened between Maya and Indra (Vāsava) in the Deva-Asura conflict.
