महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-112, verse-52

एवमेतन्महद्युद्धं द्रोणपार्षतयोरभूत् ।
भीष्मं प्रति महाराज घोररूपं भयानकम् ॥५२॥
52. evametanmahadyuddhaṁ droṇapārṣatayorabhūt ,
bhīṣmaṁ prati mahārāja ghorarūpaṁ bhayānakam.
52. evam etat mahat yuddham droṇapārṣatayoḥ abhūt
bhīṣmam prati mahārāja ghorarūpam bhayānakam
52. mahārāja evam etat mahat ghorarūpam bhayānakam
yuddham droṇapārṣatayoḥ bhīṣmam prati abhūt
52. O Great King, thus this great battle between Droṇa and Pārṣata (Dhṛṣṭadyumna), dreadful in form and terrifying, took place concerning Bhīṣma.
