महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-112, verse-71

अमोघा ह्यपतन्बाणाः पितुस्ते मनुजेश्वर ।
नासज्जन्त शरीरेषु भीष्मचापच्युताः शराः ॥७१॥
71. amoghā hyapatanbāṇāḥ pituste manujeśvara ,
nāsajjanta śarīreṣu bhīṣmacāpacyutāḥ śarāḥ.

71. O lord of men, your paternal figure's (Bhishma's) arrows were indeed unfailing as they descended; the arrows discharged from Bhishma's bow did not lodge in the bodies (of the enemies).
