महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-112, verse-137

तं शिखण्डी रणे यत्तमभ्यधावत दंशितः ।
संजहार ततो भीष्मस्तदस्त्रं पावकोपमम् ॥१३७॥
137. taṁ śikhaṇḍī raṇe yattamabhyadhāvata daṁśitaḥ ,
saṁjahāra tato bhīṣmastadastraṁ pāvakopamam.

137. Armored Shikhandi rushed towards him (Bhishma), who was already engaged in battle. Then Bhishma withdrew that fire-like weapon.
