Having scattered the Rakshasas—along with their horses, charioteers, and chariots—with his arrows, the mighty (Kṛpa) consumed them, just as the venerable fire (vahni) consumes all beings (bhūtāni) at the dissolution of a cosmic age (yugakṣaye).
