महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-131, verse-1

संजय उवाच ।
प्रायोपविष्टे तु हते पुत्रे सात्यकिना ततः ।
सोमदत्तो भृशं क्रुद्धः सात्यकिं वाक्यमब्रवीत् ॥१॥
1. saṁjaya uvāca ,
prāyopaviṣṭe tu hate putre sātyakinā tataḥ ,
somadatto bhṛśaṁ kruddhaḥ sātyakiṁ vākyamabravīt.

1. sañjayaḥ uvāca: tu (tasya) putre sātyakinā prāya-upaviṣṭe hate (sati),
tataḥ somadattaḥ bhṛśam kruddhaḥ (san) sātyakim vākyam abravīt.
1. Sanjaya said: But when (his) son, who had undertaken a fast unto death, was killed by Satyaki, then Somadatta, greatly enraged, spoke these words to Satyaki.
