महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-131, verse-40

घटोत्कचोऽतिविद्धस्तु द्रोणपुत्रेण मर्मसु ।
चक्रं शतसहस्रारमगृह्णाद्व्यथितो भृशम् ॥४०॥
40. ghaṭotkaco'tividdhastu droṇaputreṇa marmasu ,
cakraṁ śatasahasrāramagṛhṇādvyathito bhṛśam.

40. But Ghaṭotkaca, having been deeply pierced in his vital spots by Droṇa's son (Aśvatthāmā), became greatly distressed and seized a disc with a hundred thousand spokes.
