महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-80, verse-93

स्नात्वा कुरुवरश्रेष्ठ प्रयतात्मा तु मानवः ।
तर्प्य देवान्पितॄंश्चैव विष्णुलोके महीयते ॥९३॥
93. snātvā kuruvaraśreṣṭha prayatātmā tu mānavaḥ ,
tarpya devānpitṝṁścaiva viṣṇuloke mahīyate.

93. O best among the Kurus, a human being (mānava) who, with a purified self (ātman), bathes and offers oblations to the gods and ancestors, is glorified in Viṣṇu's realm (viṣṇuloka).
