महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-80, verse-15

कस्यचित्त्वथ कालस्य जपन्नेव महातपाः ।
ददर्शाद्भुतसंकाशं पुलस्त्यमृषिसत्तमम् ॥१५॥
15. kasyacittvatha kālasya japanneva mahātapāḥ ,
dadarśādbhutasaṁkāśaṁ pulastyamṛṣisattamam.

dadarśa adbhutasaṃkāśam pulastyam ṛṣisattamam
15. After some time, as he was continuously engaged in chanting (japa), the great ascetic (tapas) saw Pulastya, the foremost among sages, who had an astonishing appearance.
