महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-80, verse-122

तत्र स्नात्वा नरव्याघ्र द्योतते शशिवत्सदा ।
गोसहस्रफलं चैव प्राप्नुयाद्भरतर्षभ ॥१२२॥
122. tatra snātvā naravyāghra dyotate śaśivatsadā ,
gosahasraphalaṁ caiva prāpnuyādbharatarṣabha.

gosahasraphalam ca eva prāpnuyāt bharatarṣabha
122. O tiger among men, having bathed there, one always shines like the moon. And, O bull among the Bharatas, one would indeed attain the merit of donating a thousand cows.
