महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-80, verse-79

ततो गत्वा सरस्वत्याः सागरस्य च संगमे ।
गोसहस्रफलं प्राप्य स्वर्गलोके महीयते ।
दीप्यमानोऽग्निवन्नित्यं प्रभया भरतर्षभ ॥७९॥
79. tato gatvā sarasvatyāḥ sāgarasya ca saṁgame ,
gosahasraphalaṁ prāpya svargaloke mahīyate ,
dīpyamāno'gnivannityaṁ prabhayā bharatarṣabha.
79. tataḥ gatvā sarasvatyāḥ sāgarasya
ca saṅgame gosahasraphalam prāpya
svargaloke mahīyate dīpyamānaḥ
agnivat nityam prabhayā bharatarṣabha
79. Then, having gone to the confluence of the Sarasvatī river and the ocean, and having obtained the fruit of (donating) a thousand cows, O best of Bhāratas, he is glorified in the heaven world, always shining with splendor like fire.
