महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-80, verse-2

अथापश्यन्महात्मानं देवर्षिं तत्र नारदम् ।
दीप्यमानं श्रिया ब्राह्म्या दीप्ताग्निसमतेजसम् ॥२॥
2. athāpaśyanmahātmānaṁ devarṣiṁ tatra nāradam ,
dīpyamānaṁ śriyā brāhmyā dīptāgnisamatejasam.
2. atha apaśyan mahātmānam devarṣim tatra nāradam
dīpyamānam śriyā brāhmyā dīpta agni sama tejasam
2. Then, they saw there the great-souled (mahātman) divine sage (devarṣi) Nārada, who was shining with a divine splendor and whose brilliance was equal to that of a blazing fire.
