महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-80, verse-102

गिरिमुञ्जं समासाद्य त्रिषु लोकेषु विश्रुतम् ।
पितामहं नमस्कृत्य गोसहस्रफलं लभेत् ॥१०२॥
102. girimuñjaṁ samāsādya triṣu lokeṣu viśrutam ,
pitāmahaṁ namaskṛtya gosahasraphalaṁ labhet.
102. giri-muñjam sam-āsādya triṣu lokeṣu viśrutam |
pitāmaham namaskṛtya go-sahasra-phalam labhet
102. Having reached Giri-muñja, which is famous throughout the three worlds, and having bowed to the Grandfather (Brahmā), one would obtain the merit (phalam) of donating a thousand cows.
