महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-80, verse-67

प्रदक्षिणं ततः कृत्वा ययातिपतनं व्रजेत् ।
हयमेधस्य यज्ञस्य फलं प्राप्नोति तत्र वै ॥६७॥
67. pradakṣiṇaṁ tataḥ kṛtvā yayātipatanaṁ vrajet ,
hayamedhasya yajñasya phalaṁ prāpnoti tatra vai.

67. Thereafter, having performed a clockwise circumambulation (pradakṣiṇa), one should go to Yayātipatana. There, one truly obtains the reward of the Hayamedha (Vedic ritual).
