महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-80, verse-28

प्रदक्षिणं यः पृथिवीं करोत्यमितविक्रम ।
किं फलं तस्य विप्रर्षे तन्मे ब्रूहि तपोधन ॥२८॥
28. pradakṣiṇaṁ yaḥ pṛthivīṁ karotyamitavikrama ,
kiṁ phalaṁ tasya viprarṣe tanme brūhi tapodhana.
28. pradakṣiṇam yaḥ pṛthivīm karoti amitavikrama
kim phalam tasya viprarṣe tat me brūhi tapodhana
28. O hero of boundless might, O Brahmin sage (viprarṣi), O one whose wealth is austerity (tapas), what is the result (phala) for him who circumambulates the earth? Please tell me that.
