पुलस्त्य उवाच ।
हन्त तेऽहं प्रवक्ष्यामि यदृषीणां परायणम् ।
तदेकाग्रमनास्तात शृणु तीर्थेषु यत्फलम् ॥२९॥

29. pulastya uvāca ,
hanta te'haṁ pravakṣyāmi yadṛṣīṇāṁ parāyaṇam ,
tadekāgramanāstāta śṛṇu tīrtheṣu yatphalam.

Pulastya said: "Indeed, I will now explain to you that which is the supreme goal (parāyaṇam) of the sages. Therefore, dear child, listen with a concentrated mind to the results (phalam) obtained from visiting sacred pilgrimage sites (tīrtha-s)."
