महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-80, verse-123

कुमारकोटिमासाद्य नियतः कुरुनन्दन ।
तत्राभिषेकं कुर्वीत पितृदेवार्चने रतः ।
गवामयमवाप्नोति कुलं चैव समुद्धरेत् ॥१२३॥
123. kumārakoṭimāsādya niyataḥ kurunandana ,
tatrābhiṣekaṁ kurvīta pitṛdevārcane rataḥ ,
gavāmayamavāpnoti kulaṁ caiva samuddharet.

kurunandana tatra abhiṣekaṃ kurvīta
pitṛdevārcane rataḥ gavāmayam
avāpnoti kulam ca eva samuddharet
123. O delight of the Kurus, a self-controlled person, devoted to the worship of ancestors and gods, having reached Kumārakoṭi, should perform an ablution there. He obtains a multi-cow sacrifice (gavāmaya) and indeed uplifts his lineage (kula).
