महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-110, verse-9

त्रीणि वर्षाणि यः प्राशेत्सततं त्वेकभोजनम् ।
धर्मपत्नीरतो नित्यमग्निष्टोमफलं लभेत् ॥९॥
9. trīṇi varṣāṇi yaḥ prāśetsatataṁ tvekabhojanam ,
dharmapatnīrato nityamagniṣṭomaphalaṁ labhet.

dharma-patnī-rataḥ nityam agniṣṭoma-phalam labhet

9. Whoever eats only one meal a day continuously for three years, and is always devoted to his lawful wife, attains the reward of the Agniṣṭoma (Vedic ritual).
