महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-110, verse-121

यस्तु मासे गते भुङ्क्ते एकभक्तं शमात्मकः ।
सदा द्वादश मासान्वै ब्रह्मलोकमवाप्नुयात् ॥१२१॥
121. yastu māse gate bhuṅkte ekabhaktaṁ śamātmakaḥ ,
sadā dvādaśa māsānvai brahmalokamavāpnuyāt.

sadā dvādaśa māsān vai brahmalokam avāpnuyāt
121. yaḥ tu śamātmakaḥ māse gate ekabhaktaṃ bhuṅkte,
(saḥ) dvādaśa māsān sadā vai brahmalokam avāpnuyāt
121. A self-controlled person who eats only one meal once a month, consistently for twelve months, will indeed attain the world of Brahmā.
