महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-110, verse-6

यस्तु कल्यं तथा सायं भुञ्जानो नान्तरा पिबेत् ।
अहिंसानिरतो नित्यं जुह्वानो जातवेदसम् ॥६॥
6. yastu kalyaṁ tathā sāyaṁ bhuñjāno nāntarā pibet ,
ahiṁsānirato nityaṁ juhvāno jātavedasam.
6. yaḥ tu kalyam tathā sāyam bhuñjānaḥ na antarā
pibet ahiṃsānirataḥ nityam juhvānaḥ jātavedasam
6. And he who eats both in the morning and in the evening, but never drinks in between meals, who is always intent on non-harming (ahiṃsā), and who continually offers oblations to the fire god (Jātavedas)...
