महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-107, verse-86

न पाणौ लवणं विद्वान्प्राश्नीयान्न च रात्रिषु ।
दधिसक्तून्न भुञ्जीत वृथामांसं च वर्जयेत् ॥८६॥
86. na pāṇau lavaṇaṁ vidvānprāśnīyānna ca rātriṣu ,
dadhisaktūnna bhuñjīta vṛthāmāṁsaṁ ca varjayet.

86. A learned person should not eat salt from their hand, nor should they eat during the nights. One should not eat curds mixed with roasted flour, and should avoid meat eaten without purpose.
