महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-107, verse-103

ब्राह्मणार्थे च यच्छौचं तच्च मे शृणु कौरव ।
प्रवृत्तं च हितं चोक्त्वा भोजनाद्यन्तयोस्तथा ॥१०३॥
103. brāhmaṇārthe ca yacchaucaṁ tacca me śṛṇu kaurava ,
pravṛttaṁ ca hitaṁ coktvā bhojanādyantayostathā.
103. brāhmaṇārthe ca yat śaucam tat ca me śṛṇu kaurava
pravṛttam ca hitam ca uktvā bhojanādyantayoḥ tathā
103. kaurava me brāhmaṇārthe yat śaucam tat ca śṛṇu
tathā bhojanādyantayoḥ pravṛttam ca hitam ca uktvā
103. O Kaurava, listen from me concerning the purification (śauca) that pertains to brahmins. And likewise, (one should obtain purification) by speaking what is prescribed and beneficial at the beginning and end of meals.
